Netflix has announced a new anime based on "The Witcher" called "Sirens of the Depths" (The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep). The service has published two teasers of the animated film at once.
The events of the anime will be based on the story of Andrzej Sapkowski "A little sacrifice". The action will unfold between the fifth and sixth episodes of the first season of The Witcher with Henry Cavill and tell about how the White Wolf was involved in a centuries-old conflict between humans and sirens.
Netflix attracted actor Doug Cole to voice Geralt, who gave the voice to the gray-haired monster hunter in games from CD Projekt RED. Anya Chalotra and Joey Batty, known from the series, returned to the voice acting of Yennefer and Buttercup.
MIR studio is responsible for animation ("The Legend of Korra" and "Voltron: The Legendary Defender" from Netflix). "The Witcher: Sirens of the Depths" will be released at the end of 2024. There is no exact premiere date yet.
