Attentive gamers found a reference to Dota 2 in one of the achievements of Honkai Star Rail. The name of the new achievement mentions an item from a successful project of the Valve studio.

To get an achievement, you need to transform the Trotter character. Visually, this opponent somewhat resembles a pig, which refers to the effect of the artifact Scythe of Vyse from Dota 2. The item turns enemies into the same animals.

During The The International 2023 Dota 2 tournament, Honkai Star Rail developers sponsored several Chinese teams. Perhaps a similar reference to the Valve project appeared in the game as a sign of gratitude for cooperation.
