Amazon Prime has announced the release date of the series "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". The reboot of the 2005 film of the same name with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be released on February 2, 2024. All eight episodes will be released on the day of the premiere.
In the new version of the story, the main roles were played by Donald Glover and Maya Erskine. Glover also produced the show.
The series focuses on the themes of marriage, divorce, trust, loneliness and teamwork. Unlike the original, in the new version, the heroes get a job in a spy organization and enter into a fictitious marriage for assignments. A couple's life becomes more complicated when they begin to have feelings for each other.
